For my first fashion feature I decided to make it really simple with a little outfit inspiration post. My all time number one go-to shop for just about everything has always been H&M. They have all the basics you could ever need for your wardrobe, as well as, in my opinion, being one of the most fashion forward high street retailers around today, which is why I've chosen them as my focus this week. I don't know about you but one of the biggest trends I have noticed on Instagram this summer has been basics - a good quality pair of jeans, a crisp tee or blouse and a trusty pair of flats. Lets face it you can't really go wrong with simple pieces, can you? And the beauty of them is that they'll go with most other things in your wardrobe, not like a lot of other trends which can't really be worn again once the season has past. One of the first questions I ask myself when I see something I like is "what do I have that I can wear this with?", and if the answer is "not much", then it has to be really special in order to be purchased. I've put together this outfit of simple pieces, all from H&M, which I feel encompass my interpretation of the basics trend. Let me know what you think!
